The Amy Louise Simon Memorial Foundation was founded in memory of our daughter and sister who in 1998 lost a courageous 17 month battle with brain cancer. Amy was fourteen days from her fourteenth birthday when she died. We are glad we had her for a short time, as she was a sweet, giving, tender-hearted child. We miss her every day.
In 1997 the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan gave our family a wonderful trip to Hawaii. Amy thoroughly enjoyed it, and the memories are comforting. We hope to help other children and their families have the same experience by raising money for Make-A-Wish with our annual golf outing.
